About me: The Name? Tengku Ray ( bukan nama sebenar ! ) .... Born in Kota Bharu, brought up in Kota Bharu, went to school(s) in Kota Bharu but ended up in Japan... Never dreamed of going to Japan (Osaka)... emm... 3 years passed.. graduated from Kinki University, Higashi Osaka and then went back to Malaysia in March 2004 and currently working in.. Kota Bharu !! Staying for 3 years in Japan, although quite a short stay, in a complete wealthy environment & wallet never empty with cash had made me to believe that life in Japan is splendid.. So splendid that at some point, I started to look down on my country of origin, the place that I was born & raised up which often made me to come up with these fears of returning to M'sia someday.. However, the day finally arrived and I had no choice... The first weeks as a fresh graduate, just coming back to M'sia, were indeed "terrible", the so-called "reverse-cultural-shock"s which I experienced, the stabbing heat, the material & attitude-backwardness of Msia compared to the well developed Japan etc... I felt that my life had turned against me, and when I felt that, I started to realise the meanings of growing up.. So, I started to have a re-look into my life, and one of many lessons that I managed to learn is never to look down on things that helped you become what you have became now.. and that includes the town which I was brought up in, where ever I go, "hujan emas negeri orang, hujan batu negeri sendiri", Kota Bharu is still the best in my heart thus from time to time, I will express my gratitudes to KB thru this fotopage.. As an American author, Andrew Matthews puts it " People who do not love themselves can adore others, because adoration is making someone else big and ourselves small. They can desire others, because desire comes out of a sense of inner incompleteness, which demands to be filled. But they can not love others, because love is an affirmation of the living growing being in all of us. If you don't have it, you can't give it "
