A Day at Pantai Senok

The onced or maybe still, controversial Pantai Senok in Jajahan Bachok, Kelantan.

It was said that the Malaysian Central Government ( you know who ) originally planned for the gas pipeline from the oil field off Kelantan shores to be landed here in Pantai Senok, Bachok for its shorter distance and cost effective.

So, the story goes that the oil field is actually located between the Thai and Malaysian international border thus the Malaysian government, as it was reported by the obviously Government-controlled Press, as a sign of goodwill to the Thais, decided to redirect the planned pipeline from Pantai Senok, to a beach in Pattani, Thailand and from there, a pipeline will be build on land crossing from the Southern Thai region, into Kedah state of Malaysia.
Even though the expected cost is way higher than landing the pipeline on Malaysian-owned Pantai Senok, and despite the oppositions from the local Thais whose lands got taken away for the project, it is currently in progress.

While the other report goes saying that the Malaysian Central Goverment,
despised of the current Opposition-controlled State of Kelantan ( where Pantai Senok is ),
decided to punish Kelantan this way, denying the future income in the gas industry to the people of Kelantan who voted for the opposition, about the same way it "punished" the onced Opposition-controlled state of Terengganu by denying its decades old rights on the oil royalty taken from its own shores.
( Latest news, Terengganu still can't get back the oil royalty wealth like she used to.. kesian.. )

So, which report do you choose to believe ? I have no idea ~
