A beach lost forever....

Pantai Cahaya Bulan, or Moonlight Beach (acronym: PCB) at Kota Bharu. Onced a nice and famous beach, now it is more like a waste land by the sea. Its landscape changed drastically by the persistant violent sea waves, and it is still changing now. Sea-side eateries, onced littered the beach now destroyed, leaving only the nearby chalets to follow their fate. Government initiative? Lining up rocks to break the pounding waves. It might work but one thing for sure, the beach will never be the same again.

Such powerful force of water had demonstrated itself recently.
The famous Phi Phi Island of Pukhet, onced used by Hollywood to film Leonardo DiCaprio-starred movie, "The Beach" was seriously destroyed by Tsunamis from the recent tragedy. The news reported that it will take years for tourism to recover at the area. Currently, 100,000++ death had been confirmed and the dead are still being found.

Perhaps, in this case, PCB can still be considered somewhat ~ " lucky ".

Background song : Langgam Pak Dogo by M. Nasir
(song from previous entry)

Interesting lines from the above song:
Quote:
Lelaki A: Guano Pok Dogo hok aku kato tuh, hujje tok turong laut berlimpohhae.. Mung pehe ko dok?
Lelaki B: Hok tu laa orghe panggey falsapah, aku pun ngaji jugokkk...

Translates:
Man A: How was that Mr. Dogo? No rain but the sea is pouring in, do u understand that?
Man B: That is what people called "philosophy" ! You see, I am learned man too.

If I were Man B, I will certainly say, " ..people called that TSUNAMI ! "
