Buddaa~budda, jangan maiyeen muruchuun..

On the 26th Dec, just after I puzzlingly watched my chandeliers swung for few seconds, I went to my my grandfather's orchard just 80km south of Kota Bharu, somewhere in Kuala Krai - to a place where radio broadcasts & Maxis are no more than useless. An earlier planned trip actually.

I saw children playing by a mountain stream. I went to have a look. They seemed to play with Hari Raya leftovers - firecrackers, made waterproof then tied to a stone and pieces of bread, tossing them into the crystal clear water filled with small fishes. Toy went down, and fish came up. Instead of scolding them, I snapped digitally their "catch". Haha.. Interesting..

Ironically, on the very same day. A giant earthquake shook Northern Indonesian region and nearby areas, unleashing tremendous shockwave energy in form of deadly Tsunamis. Sheer coincidence maybe, as the fishes too, on the same day, died in a quite similar manner, by an underwater explosion which released shockwave ,crushing their internal vital organs.

By the way, I only knew about these earthquake & tsunami stories when I went home, very late in the evening.
